Partner uses the app without customer knowledge
Partner takes the cost for bsure insight subscription and storage account.
Create a separate subscription excluded from customer invoice to host both Bsure Insights Managed Application and customer Storage Account.
Partner creates a group in their own Entra ID for Bsure Insights Power BI app governance hosting members responsible for updating and sharing the different apps (customers) to internal personnel.
Go to workspaces and select each workspace containing Bsure Insights application and select manage access.
Add the group for Bsure Insights Power BI app governance as Admins
Add the group as Admin in the each Power BI workspace hosting the different customers. Admins will then update and share the app according to documentation.
If we want update the app Bsure Insights Customer B to get to the latest version, both workspace and app will be renamed to Bsure Insights Current date, meaning that it will be hard to separate the apps.
Go to Bsure Insights Customer B workspace and click get it now in the information bar on top:
When finished, go to Bsure Insights Customer B workspace and refresh the page. Dataset will automatically update report with customer B data.
You see that workspace have changed it's name.
Click workspace settings button to change the name to Bsure Insights Customer B again.
Click update app button to change the name of the app back to Bsure Insights Customer B. You won't have to add members again. You could add your own links and modify the menu in the Power Bi app.
If customer want access to the report, customer should install the Bsure Insights Power BI app in their own environment and connect to the storage account using Key1.
If customer is lost; uninstall Bsure Insights Managed Application and the Bsure Insights Power BI app.
